We are happy to announce that on September 14th and 15th, 2015 we are organizing a two day training on “Building a Roma Living Library” in Milan, Italy, as part of our capacity building program.
After the successful training “Creating opportunities for success – Multilingual learning environments for Romani children” in Leiden, the Netherlands, we are now offering one more prospect for learning and improving your competences in order to make a difference to the lives of those you serve, Romani and traveller children, their families and communities.
For more information on the training (goals, expected outcomes and methodology) please look at the document attached with the brief description of the training.
All the expenses for meals, visas, travel and accommodation will be covered by ISSA.
If you are a REYN member and an early childhood practitioner working in early childhood services or in Romani communities, or represent a Ministry or other state body responsible for the quality of education, if you are doing advocacy work and you want to explore how to challenge existing bias towards Romani communities, and learn more about what you can do to promote inclusive, high quality learning and living environments for Romani children please fill in the attached Application Form by August 22nd and send it by email to Judit Levenda at email@example.com.
Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
Only applications coming from REYN members will be considered; if you are not a member yet please make sure to register on the ISSA website http://www.issa.nl/reyn-member/register before sending your application. If you encounter any problem please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note that the training will be conducted in English without translation.
The applications will be reviewed by August 24th and, based on the information provided in the applications, a maximum of 20 participants will be selected.
Successful candidates will be informed by email on August 24th. If you have not heard from us by August 24th, please assume that on this occasion you have not been successful with your application, but we hope you will consider applying again, and hopefully next time you will be selected.
We look forward to hearing from you.
